Background of INFINITY SKY establishment

会社設立の背景

To be a company that contributes to the community.

Hello everyone,

My name is Yoichiro Hamamoto, and I am the Representative Director of INFINITY SKY Co., Ltd.

INFINITY SKY was founded in 2016 based on the philosophy of embracing limitless possibilities and taking on challenges in every endeavor.

I was born as the eldest son of a historic fishing family (amimoto) in Himi, Toyama Prefecture. Currently, I am also engaged in medical practice at an international general hospital in Shanghai.

Until before World War II, the Hamamoto family operated as amimoto (fishing net owners and representatives), primarily engaged in yellowtail fishing. However, the hereditary amimoto system that had been passed down through generations until the pre-war era transitioned into a fisheries cooperative system after the war.

Amid these changing times, the preservation and maintenance of our culturally significant amimoto residence—a traditional Japanese kominka (old folk house)—has become a major challenge.

I strongly believe that these traditional Japanese kominka should be preserved and passed on to future generations.

Following the Noto Peninsula earthquake on January 1, 2024, old houses have suffered further damage, making private maintenance and management increasingly difficult.

Therefore, beginning in 2026, we have decided to launch a new business initiative aimed at establishing a sustainable system for preserving and managing kominka by leveraging IT technology and building partnerships with corporations and academic experts.

Believing in the limitless possibilities symbolized by the vast sky, INFINITY SKY Co., Ltd. will continue to advance its business with sustainability at its core.

                                           (2026 January)
